Grace Kinsey, AIA
Partner
Director of Interiors

After graduating with a Master of Architecture degree from The University of Texas at Austin, Grace focused her career on interior architecture, being drawn to influencing the elements and spaces that users interact with on a daily basis. Grace’s professional experience includes over 8 years with Perkins+Will and Chioco Design before joining BGK to lead the Interiors Practice. She has been fortunate to work on a range of projects from design concept through construction, including higher education, retail, restaurant, corporate, and civic spaces. Some of her favorites include corporate headquarters for both Westdale Real Estate and Radom Capital, The Galbraith mixed-income multifamily building in Dallas, Lubbock Citizens Tower municipal center, and Chairs Missing, an all-day café and music lounge opening next year in Austin. She enjoys developing relationships with each client, listening to their needs for the program and design, and providing them with a successful space they can be proud of.

Grace is a member of AIA’s 6x6 Mentorship Group and CREW. She grew up in both Texas and Colorado, attending The University of Colorado for undergrad. After spending the last 2 years renovating their entire home themselves, she loves spending her free time hanging at the house with her husband Kevin, cat Theodore, daughter and dog Lady Bird.
